Director General RDD Jammu reviews progress on Centrally Sponsored Schemes

JAMMU, DECEMBER 15: Director General Rural Development Jammu, Rehana Batultoday took a review meeting of developmental schemes including PMAY (G), MGNREGA, 14th FC and other issues like establishment matters related to the Department.

SE REW Jammu, Joint Director (Planning), Joint Director (Adm), Assistant Commissioners Development, District Panchayat Officers, Executive Engineers REW of Jammu Division were present in the meeting.

While reviewing the progress under MGNREGA, DG RDD asked all ACDs to gear up their implementation activities to achieve 100% Person Day’s generation against the target particularly in the Districts which are lagging behind in respect of Person Day’s generation so that the main objective of MGNREGA Scheme to provide wage employment to the needy Rural Households could be achieved. Also, ACDs were instructed to keep ready and generate all Fund Transfer Orders with respect to the wage claim of current and previous financial years so that funds be transferred immediately as soon as the same are sanctioned. Further in respect of work completion under MGNREGA, all ACDs were directed to complete all the works of Financial year 2015-16 and as incomplete on earlier which are showing on MIS.

While reviewing the progress under PMAY (G) all ACDS were asked to complete the houses as per the allotted targets strictly following the timeline as per the guidelines and achieve 100 % completion against the target. Besides this ACDs, were advised to ensure 100% beneficiaries’ registration of Permanent wait List on Awaas-Soft.

DG RDD while reviewing the progress of under construction buildings like Community Facility Centres, CFC-CUM-Training Centre’s and Block Development Council buildings issued strict instructions to the Executive Engineers to complete all the buildings by the end o this financial year.

On the administration side all district officers were instructed to conduct timely DPCs in respect of all cadre posts which are under their jurisdiction after issuance of final seniority lists. They were also asked to ensure timely disposal of all complaints and court cases.
