PULWAMA, DECEMBER 27: Deputy Commissioner G.M Dar today reviewed the status of the languishing projects approved by Jammu & Kashmir Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (JKIDFC) Limited here at a meeting of line departments.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Chief Medical Officer, SE PDD, Xens of Irrigation, PDD, PHE, R&B, and executive officers of all concerned departments.
The DC took the scheme-wise review of projects undertaken by different departments which are funded under the languishing projects in the district.
The meeting was informed that an amount of Rs 166.64 crore has been approved in aggregate for 70 languishing projects in Power Sector, PHE, R&B, Health, Education, Irrigation & Flood Control, Judiciary, Social welfare, Animal Husbandry, Industries, Horticulture & Agriculture sector in the district.
The DC stressed upon officials to gear up men and machinery and work with added zeal so that all languishing projects are completed within the stipulated time frame. He also asked them to meet the set targets well in time and ensure that transparency is maintained in the execution of the projects.
