SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 31: District Development commissioner Shopian Dr Owais Ahmed today congratulated the students who have topped in recently announced results of matriculation examination.
Also congratulating the parents and teachers of the students, DDC said that the proudest moment for any parent or teacher is when people recognise them through the success of their children or through the success of their students.
Appreciating the students from the district, the DDC said that the students in Shopian district are hardworking and talented, adding with the right exposure they can achieve anything.
Deputy Commissioner Shopian also congratulated Chief Education Officer and the hardworking teachers who according to him worked hard to complete syllabus in time. He added that more dedicated work is needed from teachers, lecturers, professors and the officers so as to encourage all students to score good in academic examinations and succeed in different university and competitive level exams.
IfraSheeraz (494 marks), UzmaFayaz (493 marks), Mahnoor Yousuf (492 marks), AmatullahNaikoo with (491 marks) and Rumaisa with 490 marks were among toppers from the district.
