Posters declare ex-MLA ‘missing’ for 14 yrs

Rewari:Posters have appeared at several places in the Kosli Assembly segment, declaring its former legislator Rao Yadhuvendra Singh “missing” for the past 14 years.

The posters have a picture of Yadhuvendra with the caption, “Missing for the past 14 years. People of Kosli are searching for the former MLA for the past 14 years. Adequate reward will be given to the person sharing his address.”Yadhuvendra is the younger brother of Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh. He had romped to victory in two consecutive Assembly elections in 2005 and 2009 on the Congress ticket. He lost the subsequent Assembly elections to the BJP candidate by finishing a poor third

In the posters, the former MLA been asked about his home, office, academic qualification and performance. The posters have also gone viral on social media. Kosli, dominated by Ahirs, is part of the Rohtak parliamentary constituency. In the 2014 poll, BJP’s Om Prakash Dhankar got a lead of more than 40,000 votes. Yadhuvendra could not be contacted despite repeated attempts.

Yadhuvendra has been a two-time MLA from Kosli, but he neither has a home nor an office here. His presence has been minimal ever since 2014. He has failed to raise public issues in the past five years. —A leader from Kosli
