DLSA Budgam holds awareness programme on child abuse in Budgam
BUDGAM, JUNE 08:- District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Budgam today held an awareness programme titled as “Child Abuse, Sexual Violence, Culpability of young offenders and issues relating to the cyber offences”, POCSO Act” and Environment Day at Al-Asma Educational Institute Budgam.
The programme was attended by the students along with the staff members of the institute. The programme comprised of the working session in which Secretary DLSA Budgam spoke at length regarding Child abuse, provisions regarding the issue including POCSO Act and Environment Conservation. Members from JJB Budgam, DCPU Budgam, CWC Budgam, Principal Al-Asma School and Retainer lawyers also delivered lectures regarding the subject. Vote of thanks was given by Principal Al-Asma Educational Institute.
