DDC holds grievance redressal camp; reviews construction of bunkers
KATHUA, JUNE 08: District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, today conducted a public grievances redressal camp to assess issues and grievances of the general masses.
Several deputations and individuals met the DDC and put forth their issues which included enrolment under scholarship, completion/repair of roads, up-gradation of Power and PHE infrastructure, widow pension, old age pension, assistance for marriage, issues regarding Degree and Professional colleges, restoration of water bodies through CSR, facilities in Child & Maternity Hospital besides land issues.
DDC gave a patient hearing to the deputations and assured them that their demands will be looked into. He also passed on the spot directions to the concerned officers for redressal of grievances and directed them to maintain close liaison with the locals so that their grievances are redressed at the earliest.
DDC also directed the officers to conduct field visits regularly so as to remain apprised about the problems faced by the people and the same can be projected before the administration for quick redressal.
Later, DDC reviewed the progress in construction of bunkers and directed the executing agency to expedite the pace of work for timely completion.
Among others ADDC, Dr. Shubra Sharma, Executive Engineer PWD, U K Sharma and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
