DRCS organises awareness programme on blood donation
UDHAMPUR, JUNE 14: District Red Cross Society, Udhampur, today organized awareness programme on blood donation for ASHAs workers, Anganwadi workers and volunteers at Municipality Complex Ramnagar.
While speaking on the occasion, Secretary DRCS, Udhampur Dr V.P Sharma said that the main objective of organizing this camp is to create awareness among the common masses about the misconceptions and fear regarding blood donation in the society. He exhorted the people especially youth to donate blood regularly to save the ailing as there is no alternate to human blood.
Among others ASHAs workers, Anganwadi workers and volunteers of District Red Cross Society besides prominent citizen were present on the occasion.
