Srinagar, July 15: Unknown men, who are suspected to be militants, abducted an urban local body member in North Kashmir on Wednesday morning, said officials.
They said that Vice President of Municipal Committee Watergam Baramulla, Mehraj ud Din Malla, was on foot when a private car halted and was wishked away.
A massive search has been launched in the area.
Police sources suspect militants are behind the abduction.
