Jammu: In yet another leap towards reimagining the educational landscape under the visionary thrust of the National Education Policy, a student visit to the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra (VSK), Teachers Bhawan Jammu, was orchestrated today under the able directions of Dr. Naseem Javaid Choudhary, Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ). This initiative forms a vital spoke in the wheel of Digital Learning Interventions being celebrated under NEP UTSAV 2025.

Spearheaded locally by the Chief Education Officer Jammu, Sh. Ajit Sharma, the programme bore the intent of ushering students into the emerging domain of ed-tech ecosystems. Participating in the exposure visit were students from Government High School, Gandhinagar—young minds eager to interface with the future.

The demonstration focused on two powerful tools: the Swift Chat App and the Study Buddy Chatbot—both designed to blend inquiry with interaction and curriculum with curiosity. The session was led with flair and clarity by Sh. Imran Qureshi, aided capably by the VSK core team: Altaf Hussain, Vikas Khajuria, Harpreet Kour, and Sunita Fotedar. Adding pedagogical depth to the experience were dedicated teachers Smt. Nidhi Badyal and Smt. Shital Sharma, who stood as bridges between the known and the new.

Supervision of the programme was ably handled by Mr. Ajay, Nodal Officer VSK, who ensured the seamless flow of ideas, engagement, and exchange.
The highlight of the day emerged during an interactive dialogue between students and the VSK mentors. A Class 7 student, Chandni, stepped forward—not merely to thank the facilitators, but to voice a pledge: “I will use the Study Buddy app not just to complete homework,” she said, “but to truly understand the subjects I study.”

Indeed, as Chandni’s voice echoes softly in the halls of Teachers Bhawan, one cannot help but believe: a digital dawn is already breaking in the classrooms of Jammu.
