Ramban, October 4:
Ankur Dogra, State Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC), has strongly appealed to the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, to expedite the release of compensation in favour of Reshma Devi, wife of Dess Raj, resident of Trahalta Thopal, Batote Block, whose house was completely damaged during the recent spell of heavy rainfall.
He further urged the Divisional Forest Officer, Batote Division, to sanction a reasonable quantity of dry wood to the affected family on humanitarian grounds, considering their specially-abled status and difficult living conditions.
Mr. Dogra emphasized that timely assistance to such families reflects the administration’s commitment to inclusive welfare and compassionate governance.
