Doda, March 11-Chief Education Officer Doda, Sh. Bhushan Kumar Pathak, today conducted surprise inspections of several educational institutions in Zone Assar to review the overall functioning of schools and ensure adherence to academic and administrative standards.
During the visit, the CEO inspected Government Middle School Trungal, Lower High School Jathi, Higher Secondary School Assar, and the Zonal Education Office Assar. The inspection focused primarily on staff punctuality and attendance, student enrollment strength, staff position, and the status of infrastructure and basic facilities available in the institutions.
While interacting with the Heads of Institutions and teaching staff,CEO stressed the importance of maintaining discipline, ensuring regular attendance of staff, and providing a conducive academic environment for students. He also reviewed classroom activities, teaching-learning practices, and the general functioning of the institutions.
The CEO directed the concerned authorities to address any gaps related to infrastructure and staffing on priority and reiterated the department’s commitment to strengthening the quality of education and institutional accountability across District Doda.
These inspections are part of the ongoing monitoring mechanism of the School Education Department aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and the overall functioning of educational institutions in the district.
