Doda, March 12-Chief Education Officer Doda, Sh. Bhushan Kumar Pathak, today visited the District Institute of Education and Training, Doda, to review the ongoing five-day training programme being conducted under the PM SHRI initiative.
During his visit, the CEO interacted with the participating teachers and resource persons and reviewed the objectives and progress of the training programme. He emphasized the importance of capacity building of teachers to enhance the quality of education and effectively implement the goals envisaged under the PM SHRI scheme. He encouraged the participants to make the best use of the training sessions and adopt innovative and student-centric teaching practices in classrooms.
On the occasion, CEO Doda also conducted surprise inspections of several educational institutions, including Government City Middle Boys School Doda, Government Middle School Bundoda, and Government Boys Higher Secondary School Doda.
During the inspections, the CEO reviewed the regularity of staff and students, inspected classroom functioning, and assessed the status of infrastructure and developmental works in the institutions. He interacted with the school heads and staff members and issued necessary instructions to ensure proper academic environment and effective implementation of educational activities.
The CEO also took note of certain shortcomings observed during the visits and directed the concerned authorities to address them promptly to improve the overall functioning of the institutions.
He reiterated the department’s commitment to strengthening the education system and ensuring that schools maintain discipline, quality teaching standards, and adequate infrastructure for the benefit of students.
