SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 01: The District Development Commissioner Shopian Dr. Owais Ahmed today chaired a meeting here at mini secretariat Arhama Shopian to review the physical and financial progress of Cluster Tribal Model villages of the district.
The meeting was attended by the Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Xens of PHE, Irrigation, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education Officer, Chief Agriculture, Horticulture, Assistant Director Handicrafts and other concerned.
The meeting was informed that the aim of Cluster Tribal Model Village (CTMV) is to provide basic amenities to Schedule Tribe (ST) population in various fields including Education, health, Skill Development, Horticulture, Agriculture, PHE, Tourism and other concerned departments.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to prepare the revised proposals for the developmental works of the model villages. He also directed to maintain the highest standard of constructions and said that there should be no compromise on the quality of material used in construction. He further asked the officials to complete all the pending documental works so that no work suffers.
