KISHTWAR OCTOBER 04: Department of Social Welfare today celebrated the Senior Citizens week (1-7 October 2018) Bal Ashram inmates.
The Staff of the Institution and Functionaries of the Social Welfare Department participated in the programme.
Students of the Institution and inmates of Bal Ashram were administered pledge by TSWO Chetna Sharma to respect and maintain the dignity of the elderly citizens, look after elderly family members among others commitments.
The Students were given motivational inputs by Dr. Mohsin Raza District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar and Vijay Mala Sen Headmistress of the Institution.
Programme ended with Vote of thanks by Rajesh Sharma Superintendent Bal Ashram Along with presentation of Mementos to Vijay Mala Sen Head of the Institution, Asha Sen Senior most Staff member and Om Prakash Chowkidar of the School.
The DSWO advised the Children to maintain cleanliness of the Institution as continuous commitment under Swatch Bharat Mission.
The Programme was also attended by special guests namely Mubeena Begum Retired Tehsil Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar, Jamila Begum Retired Craft Teacher and Kavita Sharma Accounts Assistant.
