RAJOURI, DECEMBER 04: The district administration today gave away 2942 certificates to the students of Pahari Speaking community for grant of scholarships in a time-bound manner.
As many as, 12 certificates were issued in Sunderbani, 800 in Nowshera, 1000 in Rajouri, 227 in Manjakote, 350 in Thanamandi, 27 in Teryath, , 500 in Darhal, 25 in Beripattan and 90 in Kalakote till date.
Pertinently, District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, responding to the complaint of the community regarding hardships in getting these certificates, simplified the procedure and directed all the tehsildars to ensure timely disbursement of scholarship by the Pahari advisory board in the district. In this regard, a standard format has been circulated among the tehsildars for on spot issuing of Certificates.
The Social welfare Department has authorized the concerned Tehsildars to issue certificates to the eligible students belonging to Pahari Speaking Community so that they can avail the entitled scholarships.
