A non-cognisable offence complaint has been filed against Tanushree Dutta by Sumant Dhas for allegedly defaming Raj Thackeray and MNS party.
Complaint was filed at Kaij police station in Beed district of Maharashtra.
The actor has been in the headlines since she accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of misbehaving with her.
On Thursday, Maharashtra minister Deepak Kesarkar had said there will be a fair probe if actor Tanushree Dutta files a police complaint against Nana Patekar, following up on her allegations that he misbehaved with her during the shooting of a film in 2008.
Kesarkar, the minister of state for home (rural), also asserted that the government was not biased towards Patekar.
The Shiv Sena minister had said Wednesday that Patekar is an “illustrious personality” who had done a lot for the state, and asked why Dutta did not file a police complaint in the past 10 years.
Dutta has been ‘slapped’ with two legal notices by Patekar and director Vivek Agnihotri respectively.
Dutta has alleged that Patekar misbehaved with her on the sets of the film ‘Horn Ok Pleasss’. She has accused him of harassing her while shooting for a special dance number in the movie and also claimed that dance choreographer Ganesh Acharya teamed up against her. With ANI inputs
