Three persons were injured when a speeding Ford Endeavour and a Ford Figo met with an accident at the Sector 45/44/50/51 light point last night. The Ford Figo turned turtle, leaving all three occupants injured.
Two of the injured, Gurpreet and Karamjeet, both residents of Gurdaspur, were taken to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16. They were discharged after first aid. The third injured, Simarpreet, a resident of Chandigarh, was taken to the PGI from where he was discharged after treatment.
Sources said the SUV driver escaped unhurt.
The police said they had not received any complaint in the incident. A daily diary report (DDR) has been lodged at the Sector 49 police station.
