DODA, DECEMBER 11:- The Handloom Development Department today organized one day awareness for local Weavers .
The camp was also attended by Managers of various Banks.
Assistant Director Handloom Development Department, Haroon Rashid Naik, supervised the camp and asked the weavers to come forward and take maximum benefit of the department’s schemes which offer several incentives besides new techniques in the trade of weaving. He highlighted various schemes like “Pradhan Mantri Weavers Mudra Yojna Scheme”.
He informed that during the current financial year Rs. 3.00 lakh has been distributed as subsidy under Micro credit plan scheme benefitting 52 weavers.
ACSS N.D Batt, highlighted the benefits of the schemes of the department and distributed forms among the weavers for their coverage under Aam Admi Bima Yojna and Pradhan Mantri Surakshan Yojna.
