Encounter broke out on Thursday after the Security forces established contact with the militants who had escaped into forests yesterday in Jhajjar Kotli area of Jammu.
Reports said that exchange of fire started following a massive search operation launched by the forces in the area yesterday morning.
The firing is going on from the both sides,” a police official said.
