Internet and mobile phone services resumed in Kashmir this afternoon after being suspended on I-Day, officials said.
Mobile telephony services were suspended across all network operators this morning, while mobile Internet facilities were barred from midnight. Only BSNL landline services and its wired-Internet facilities were working since morning, the officials said.
The services have resumed across the Valley this afternoon after the official functions ended. It was suspended as a precautionary measure on Independence Day, the officials added.
The authorities have been clamping down on mobile services on Republic and I-Day in Kashmir.
