At least seven persons were injured in a road mishap on Srinagar-Leh highway at Baroosa in Lar area of Ganderbal on Sunday.
An official said that a passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK01F-9303 was traveling from Sumbal to Ganderbal when it collided with a load carrier carrying seven persons resulting in injuries to seven persons.
All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where from they were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.
The injured were identified as Gh Nabi Dar, Bilal Ahmad Dar, Nazir Ahmad, Javid Ahmad, Gh Ahmad Dar, Ajaaz Ahmad Dar and Jahangeer Ahmad Dar. All are residents of Sumbal area of Bandipora.
Police have taken cognizance of the case.
