BANDIPORA, AUGUST 20: District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary today directed Project Manager, Hindustan Construction Corporation (HCC) to release one-month salary in favour of workers before Eid-Ul- Azha.
This direction was given by the DDC while chairing a joint meeting held here at DC office Bandipora.
The SSP Bandipora Shiekh Zulifikar Azad, Project Manager, HCC, S.K. Arora, Manager National Hydroelectric power corporation (NHPC) (Environment), Srinivas, representatives of contractors and workers of HCC/NHPC were present in the meeting. The meeting discussed threadbare various issues relating to the pending payments/ Salaries of contractors/ workers with HCC.
The DDC gave the directions to Project Manager, HCC for release of one month pay before Eid-ul-Azha and also ensure to clear all liabilities of workers/ Contractors by August 31, 2018.
