A new revelation has been made in the murder case of the Army Major’s wife who was found dead in Delhi on Saturday, which now gives it an angle of a love triangle murder.
As per the sources Major Amit Dwivedi has accused another Army Major for murdering his wife Shailaja Dwivedi.
As per the sources in police, Major Amit suspects the hand of another major behind the death of his wife as she was trying to end her ‘friendship’ with him.
As per the sources, Major Amit was posted in Dimapur before Delhi and his wife befriended another major there. While Dwivedi came to Delhi two months ago , his wife’s ‘friendship’ with the other major continued and the two remained in contact. When Dwivedi expressed his displeasure toward his wife’s friendship with the major, she tried to end the relation and that is why she was murdered, suspects Major Dwivedi.
The body of Major Dwivedi’s wife was found near Brar Square in the Delhi Cantonment area on Saturday.
The police said she had gone to an Army base hospital for a physiotherapy session and her body was found later.
The woman had neck injuries, they said.
“We have found some clues about the accused,” they said, adding that an investigation is underway.
