In order to make aware our students about the benefits of trees and as per the theme of the month Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua planted trees in the ambience of school in collaboration with Dainik Jagran. The students of class 1st to class 10th actively participated in the programme. Ms. Shuchita Gupta (Principal), teachers and students planted sapling in our school premises. The trees were planted according to house-wise.
We have planted various types of plants. Teachers also explained about the trees and the importance of tree plantation. Even helping staff also taught students how to plant them and then they watered the plants.
Principal Shuchita Gupta addressed students and guided them about the values of trees. She motivated them to plant more and more trees. Trees play a vital role in every body’s life. They provide fruits and many more things to us. People cut trees for their own benefits. We must take a pledge to plant at least one tree every year by each individual. Co-ordinators Mrs. Pardeep kour, Ms. Smriti Sharma and Ms. Shruti Sharma also conveyed a message to the students to grow more trees. All the teachers were present at this occasion. Now these trees will be taken care of by house Incharges and the students. We in Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua always inculcate such type of values amongst the students. Even students expressed their views on how to grow the trees and the benefits they give to us.
