Today on 24th of September 2018, one day protest demonstration cum hunger strike was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (TJAC) at Jantar Mantar New Delhi for immediate implementation of 7th Pay Commission in which a large number of TJAC leaders from J&K participated .
The protest was organized under the leadership of State President ReT Forum and member TJAC Vinod Sharma, State Chief Coordinator Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, State Vice President Gulzabir Daing and Provincial President Jammu Rajesh Jamwal . After a day long protest cum hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, officials of Delhi Police arranged a meeting of TJAC leaders with the officials in Prime Minister’s office where a memorandum of demands was submitted .
The officials assured the TJAC leaders to consider the genuine issues of the teachers of J & K including 7th Pay Commission by taking up the matter with the state government.
