The Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA) will start e-auction of fancy registration numbers of a new series, ‘CH01BU’, next month.
The e-auction will start on October 11 and continue till October 13. Bids will be invited for registration numbers from 0001 to 9999.
Those interested in taking part in the auction can get themselves registered on the national transport website https://parivahan.gov.in/fancy and obtain unique acknowledgement number (UAN). The link is also available on the website of Transport Department, UT, www.chdtransport.gov.in.
Only those who have purchased vehicle, for which fancy number is sought, on Chandigarh address can take part in the e-auction.
