SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 29: An extensive drive to verify the genuineness of beneficiaries of availing benefits under various social security schemes was carried out here today at Panchayat GharTapyal, Block Ghagwal.
Around 139 ineligible persons found availing benefits under old age pension, widow pension, and handicap category were weeded out during the verification drive.
As per the department, more such verification drive will be carried out in next phase so that only deserving beneficiaries take benefit of social security scheme.
