DSEJ’s Special Enrollment Drive “AAO School Chalein” Gathers Momentum In Kishtwar.

KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 06:  Directorate Of School Education Jammu rolled out a special enrollment drive, “AAO SCHOOL CHALEIN” in the month of November 2019, which will continue till December 10th of this year in all the ten districts of Jammu Division with special impetus on areas which fall in the winter zone of the division so as to coincide with the fresh admission timings in these areas.

The initiative, which according to reliable sources, is the brain child of Director School Education Jammu Ms. Anuradha Gupta herself, has received fresh prodding as the Resource Group of Kishtwar in collaboration with DIET Kishtwar organised a rally to create awareness amongst general masses about the enrollment drive under the supervision of Principal DIET Kishtwar Ashok Kumar.

In the rally, DIET faculty along with more than a 100 students from various schools of the district participated with banners and placards prepared by DRG group reflecting the special features of the initiative which include nominal admission fee, free text books, free two uniforms sets in a year, free mid-day meal, national means cum merit scholarship  test only for Government school students (NMMS) which awards Rs. 1000 per month continuously for four years, availability of trained, experienced and highly qualified staff, accountability of teachers,  well designed academic calendar, inclusion of sports and fitness programmes, kindergarten schools, KGBV schools for girls students of classes 6th to 8th and many other such distinctive attributes.

Talking to Paigaam, citizens of the area appreciated the initiative of the School Education Department Jammu and requested the Director Ms. Anuradha Gupta to extend the time period of the initiative so that more and more students get benefitted.
