Kathua: In yet another stellar achievement, Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Nagri Parole has added another feather to its cap by standing out at the Divisional Level Rashtriya Bal Vigyan Pardarshni (RBVP), a prestigious science exhibition held yesterday at SCERT Jammu. Under the dynamic leadership of Sh. Mangat Ram Sharma, Chief Education Officer, Kathua, and the insightful guidance of Sh. Jatinder Sethi, Principal, Government HSS Nagri Parole, the school continues to demonstrate its excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.

The RBVP event witnessed the participation of 50 exceptional models showcasing the creative and scientific talents from all 10 DIETs (District Institutes of Education and Training) across the Jammu division. Among these, two remarkable models from District Kathua earned the honor of being selected for the National Level competition to be held at NCERT NEW DELHI ,by a distinguished panel of experts from NCERT, New Delhi. This significant achievement underscores the district’s unwavering commitment to scientific innovation and quality education.

The journey to this success was both challenging and competitive. It began with an overwhelming 1,400 models submitted by students from various schools across the region. During the initial selection phase, only 500 models advanced, reflecting a high standard of creativity and scientific inquiry. From these, 50 models were further shortlisted for the divisional level competition. Ultimately, two models from District Kathua have now been chosen to represent the region on the national stage, highlighting the district’s robust educational foundation and dedication to nurturing young minds.

One of the selected models hails from Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Nagri Parole, represented by Bhanvee Manhas, daughter of Satish Kumar. This achievement was made possible through the mentorship of Sh. Sunil Singh Jasrotia and Smt. Jyoti Jasrotia, dedicated teachers of the school. The other model, representing Government High School Parangoli in Zone Sallan, also secured a place at the national level. This dual victory brings immense pride to District Kathua, showcasing the district’s ability to foster talent and inspire innovation among its students.

For HSS Nagri Parole, this achievement is particularly noteworthy. The school has long been recognized for its emphasis on academic excellence, and this latest accomplishment further solidifies its reputation as a beacon of quality education in the region. The school’s dedication to nurturing young talent and providing an environment conducive to scientific exploration has clearly borne fruit, as evidenced by this success at the RBVP.

This triumph is not just a win for the schools involved but for the entire District Kathua. It showcases the potential and promise of the district’s students and serves as an inspiration to other schools in the region. As these two models prepare to compete at the national level, they carry with them the hopes and pride of their schools, their district, and the entire Jammu division. This achievement underscores the importance of providing students with opportunities to explore, innovate, and excel, setting a high standard for future competitions.
