Doda: The Chief Education Office Doda, in collaboration with the Sri Aurobindo Society, successfully conducted an orientation session on Project Inclusion for teachers across the district. The session was held under the able guidance and supervision of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda, Mr. Mohammad Hafiz.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with nearly 250 educators from different schools joining the orientation. The program aimed to sensitize and train teachers on inclusive education practices through structured modules developed by the Sri Aurobindo Society.
Dr. Anis Ahmed, District Education and Planning Officer (DEPO) Doda, graced the session as the special guest. In his address at the onset, Dr. Ahmed emphasized the importance of inclusivity in education and appreciated the joint efforts of the department and the Society in promoting equitable learning environments.
Participants were given a comprehensive overview of the Project Inclusion framework. They were encouraged to complete the assigned modules and generate participation certificates, thereby ensuring active involvement and accountability.
The session was anchored by Mr. Akash Sharma, Coordinator from the Jammu branch, with additional support from Mr. Asim Irshad, Coordinator from the Sri Aurobindo Society. Ms. Pooja Das, serving as the resource person, conducted the training and shared practical insights on inclusive teaching methodologies.
Mrs.Anu Radha, Coordinator from Doda, concluded the event with a formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organizers for their contributions to the success of the program.
The session was well-received by the attendees, who appreciated the initiative and expressed keen interest in applying the learnings in their respective schools.
