DODA, FEBRUARY 24: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Sh. Krishan Lal, today flagged off a contingent of students from the district to participate in the National Youth Exchange Programme being held at Lovely Professional University (LPU), Phagwara, Punjab, from February 24 to March 1, 2026.
The initiative has been jointly organized by the District Administration Doda and the Red Cross Society Doda in coordination with the School Education Department, with the aim of fostering cultural understanding, leadership qualities, national integration, and overall personality development among students.
Before their departure, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the participants and encouraged them to take full advantage of the academic, cultural, and interactive opportunities offered during the programme. He highlighted the importance of such exposure visits in expanding students’ outlook, enhancing their confidence, and strengthening their communication and interpersonal skills.
DC Doda urged the students to represent District Doda with pride and dignity, and to utilize the platform to gain knowledge, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections with peers from across the country.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Doda, Sh. Ashraf Parvez, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Doda, Sh. Manesh Kumar, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda, Sh. Bhushan Kumar, District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), Sh. Zubair Ahmed,along with other senior officers and officials of the district administration.
The participating students expressed their appreciation to the District Administration and associated departments for providing them with this valuable opportunity to take part in a national-level programme designed to enhance their exposure, confidence, and overall development.
