A couple on the advice of a tantrik allegedly strangled their ailing six-year-old daughter and cremated her inside their house in Chaudharpur.
The tantrik had allegedly told them that if they did so they would have a healthy child as this one was not well, as per ANI.
Finding something fishy, neighbours filed a complait with the police and they found the girl’s body buried inside the house. The body looked malnourished.
As per reports, since the mother did not want to part with the girl she decided to bury her inside the house. The couple had also decided to build a temple there.
An FIR has been lodged against the couple but no arrests have been made yet.
