BUDGAM, SEPTEMBER 12: Additional Deputy Commissioner Budgam Khursheed Ahmad Shah, who is also in-charge Programme Officer ICDS Budgam, today convened a meeting of all CDPOs to review the functioning of ICDS projects.
The meeting held threadbare discussions on various issues particularly, nutrition supplies, material supplies to Anganwadi centres, preparation/arrangements to be in place for celebrations of the ongoing month-long programme ‘Poshan Abhiyan’, besides status of Aadhaar enrollment, honorarium issues of the Anganwadi workers, helpers and other related issues.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC stressed the need for maintaining punctuality of supervising staff. CDPOs were directed to fix the targets and strictly follow the guidelines prescribed in respect of biometric enrollment of unrolled population.
With regard to programme ‘Poshan Abiyaan’, ADC urged upon all CDPOs to adhere to the daily based calendar of activities undertaken at all respective projects, so that performance and progress under the scheme can be checked accordingly.
