The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Thursday stayed the proceedings against former Moga SSP Charanjeet Singh and two others in a sacrilege case.
The High Court also issued notice of motion to Punjab for September 20.
The order by Justice RK Jain came on a petition by Charanjit Singh, SHO Amarjit Singh and SSP Raghbir Singh Sandhu.
The Bench stayed proceedings against them in pursuance of recommendations by the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission.
