The chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra loves to share WhatsApp videos and jokes to his followers and fans. Besides the one he has shared yesterday, he often shares such videos on Twitter, much to the delight of his supporters. This new one is on Chinese Garba.
Navratri festival is just around the corner and people are all set to perform Garba at the dandiya night. Garba is a traditional Gujarati folk dance and song, originally performed as a fertility ritual. The dance is performed in circular movements with hands and feet. Not only in India, but this dance form is also famous across the globe. Recently, a video called ‘Chinese Garba’ started doing the rounds on the social media where people from China can be seen grooving to the Garba steps and Gujarati folk song. So, the chairman of Mahindra Group also shared.

Mahindra captioned the video as, “This made me smile again. The post came with the caption: “Chinese Garba.” Well, the music may have been grafted on to some random Chinese dance but with Navratri around the corner, it’s nice to imagine hordes of Chinese tourists dancing along with us..”.
