POONCH OCTOBER 04: The randomization of EVMs for Poonch ULB polls will be held tomorrow in presence of representatives of contesting political parties and independent candidates.
Chairing a meeting here today, the District Election Officer Rahul Yadav said that the candidates of Municipal Council Poonch and Surankote have been conveyed to remain present at the time of randomization or send their authorized agents. The randomization of EVMs will start tomorrow at 10 am at Sheesh Mahal GHSS Poonch. Thereafter, they will be shifted in strong room.
The EVMs will be distributed for polling stations on 7-10-2018. The DEO also informed that a cell has been established in the DC Office to receive complaints concerning the ULB polls. He also said that every polling station will be provided with two EVMs one for polling and other as reserved.
