UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 05: District Development Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar today conducted a public grievances redressal camp here at village Dhanwalt of Tehsil Ramnagar and listened to the local’s issues.
The DC took first hand appraisal of the problems and demands of the people and made them aware about various welfare schemes so that they can avail maximum benefits.
Public of the area apprised the DDC about shortage of staff in schools, health institutions, road connectivity, un-electrified villages, scarcity of drinking water, dilapidated conditions of road connectivity etc.
They also demanded upgradation of Government High school Konain to Higher Secondary school, establishment of medical first Aid & Seed center in the area and early completion of Dheeran to Dhanwalt and Sunetar to Dhanwalt (Dhanu) road etc.
After listening to the problems of people patiently, the DDC said that their genuine problems would be redressed in a phased manner.
The DC directed the officers to conduct frequent visits of far – off and hilly areas to ascertain the people’s grievances at their doorsteps and ensure early redress of the same.
The DDC was accompanied by Sub–Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar Farrukh Qazi besides sectoral officers of different departments.
