UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 05: District Election Officer (DDC), Udhampur Ravinder Kumar today chaired a meeting of Nodal officers and Returning officers to review the arrangements for ensuing Urban Local Body elections in the district.
The meeting had detailed discussions on Law and order situation ,Model code of conduct, Material Management, Man power management, Returning officers, (RO’s) ,General expenditure observer, security of polling stations, ERO/AERO’s Nodal officer for management ,Transport/ communication plan, Expenditure Monitoring, Daily reporting , to Check violation of model code of conduct, Flying Squad etc were discussed in detail.
Necessary directions were given to the Nodal officers for smooth conduct of the Municipal Elections. The police authorities were asked to ensure foolproof arrangements for polling parties RO’s & ARO’s.
The DEO further directed the Nodal Officers to enforce MCC strictly and remove poster/banners from public properties with the help of municipal authorities.
The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Rayees Mohammed Bhat, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Gurvinderjeet Singh, ASP, Tabassum Parveen, ACR Sonu Pargal,Deputy District Election Officer, Sapna Kotwal, Anirudh Rai AERO Migrants, General Observer, Expenditure Observer besides other nodal officers.
