UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER-26:- In order to review working of Election cells in the district established for free and fair conduct of Panchayat Election 2018, District Panchayat Election Officer, Ravinder Kumar, has appealed the public to register their complaints related to the election process in the help desk which is working 24×7.
Kumar informed that a total of 45 complaints from workers, representatives of different Political parties and independent voters have been received by the complaint cell so far, of which, 43 have been disposed off by the Committee headed by ADC Udhampur. Besides, 2 complaints are being investigated, he added.
In addition, the people can also register their grievances/complaints regarding MCC violation or any other issue related to these elections with ADC, SDM, Zonal Magistrate, Sectoral Magistrate and RO apart from the Complaint cell.
Pertinently, Chief Election Officer Jammu & Kashmir has appointed Observers for conduct of Panchayat Elections who have set up their offices in the district.
