RAMBAN, DECEMBER 08: – Deputy Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, today convened a meeting of officers to review the functioning of Revenue department in the district.
DC asked all the Tehsildars to formulate an action plan regarding removal of encroachments from state and Kachrai land in their respective areas. He also asked them to identify state land for construction of Tehsildar office besides residential accommodation.
While reviewing the progress with regard to writing of Jamabandi Charsalla, attestation of mutations and Girdawaries, DC directed the Tehsildars to expedite the process of disposal of these cases. He also asked them to ensure regular updation of land records as per targets so that settlement process under Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) can be completed in time.
The DC asked the officers to pay frequent visits in their respective jurisdictions to ensure effective implementation of development works besides conducting revenue work related camps and outreach programmes to resolve the public issues at their door steps.
He asked the SDMs and Tehsildars to ensure implementation of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Guarantee Act (JKPSGA) in their Jurisdictions in letter and spirit.
ACR, Vevaik Puri, SDM Banihal, Zameer Ahmed Rishu, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars attended the meeting.
