Srinagar, June 5 : An army vehicle was damaged in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Yemberzalwai in outskirts of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
Confirming the blast, SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal told media that the vehicle got partially damaged. “However, no injuries reported so far in the incident”.
“Whole area has been cordoned off and searches have been launched to nab the assailants,” the officer said.
He said that it was a low-intensity IED.
