SRINAGAR:University students( deptt. of Persian studies ) staged a protest at Press Enclave Srinagar,today, against the university authorities and demanded that ‘Persian’ language should be given a boost and should be promoted.The protesting scholars complained that for many years no posts have been advertised or any recruitment has done despite this language being the mother tongue of many for over 200 years.
