DCW exposes trafficking racket in Delhi; girls being sold to Iran, Kuwait

In a big feat for the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), Chairperson Swathi Maliwal and her team rescued a total of 16 girls from Nepal who were trafficked to the national capital on Tuesday night.
Maliwal, while speaking to media agencies after the rescue operation said the minors were being further trafficked to Iran and Kuwait. “A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) had informed us that the girls are being trafficked to Iran and Kuwait on the pretext of jobs offer today,” she said.

Meanwhile, lauding Maliwal’s efforts Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal slammed the Central Government under whom the Delhi police functions, for their inefficiency to stop the trafficking which according to Maliwal was going on since the last 8 months.
