Manchester, July 10:New Zealand set India a target of 240 after they lost three early wickets and ended their innings at 239 for 8.

They lost Ross Taylor early to a brilliant run-out by Ravindra Jadeja as the rain-marred semi-final between India and New Zealand resumed here on Wednesday on time with the skies still overcast.Soon, Tom Latham followed suit as he was caught by Jadeja in the deep off Bhvaneshwar Kumar.

The Kiwis resumed their proceedings from their overnight score of 211/5, with Taylor and Latham batting on 67 and three, respectively.

However, the forecast for entire Wednesday does not look auspicious as there is prediction of clouds and some rain. IANS
