Udhampur: Today Main function of teachers day of District Udhampur was celebrated at Saheed Inspector Kamal Singh Higher Secondary School Boys Udhampur, in which chief guest of the event was Joint Director School Education Udhampur-Reasi Range Sh Dhirendra Sharma JKAS and Guest of Honour was Chief Education Officer Udhampur Sh. Arvin Kumar Koul.
In the function one teacher from each zone was felicitated as best teacher of the zone keeping in view their valuable contribution towards education quality initiatives which they have initiated in their respective zones, their screening was done by zonal level committee. Also Zonal Incharge cultural Cell (ZICC) of each zone appreciated by Worthy Joint Director and Chief Education officer keeping in view their best efforts towards implementing cultural activities , which was issued by higher authorities from time to time and also towards Kala Utsav . Hushyiar Singh from Babey Zone, Jagdish Chander Sharma From Chenani Zone, Subash Brahmanu from Dudu Zone, Devender Thakur from Ghordi Zone, Jyoti from Jib Zone, Daleep Singh from Kulwanta Zone, Dinesh Sharma from Majalta, Anchal Singh from Panchari Zone, Sanjeev Kumar from Ramnagar Zone, Rohit Magotra from Tikri Zone and Rinku Khanna from Udhampur zone was appreciated. The Name of Best Teachers who was appreciated are Shashi Kumar from Babey Zone, Dr. Goldy Salathia from Chenani Zone, Shabir Hussain from Dudu Zone, Vijay Kumar from Ghordi Zone, Sarita Sharma from Jib Zone, Janak Raj from Kulwanta zone, Tirath Ram from Majalta zone, Sukhdev Kumar from Panchari zone, Raj Kumar from Ramnagar Zone, Mohd. Mustaffa from Tikri Zone and Rinku Khanna from Udhampur zone was appreciated by certificate and trophy.. Staff of HSS Girls Udhampur was awarded with trophy for their presentation of Saraswati Vandana and Welcome song prepared by Dr. Sunita Sharma and Anjana Khajuria. Pawan Kumar NCC Incharge also felicitated for his prompt service regarding NCC Students. Students of HSS Boys Udhampur presented cultural items. Rakesh Singh DICC and Dr. Jia Lal coordinated the whole programme.
