Kathua : On the Directions of the Higher authorities of School Education Department, many ZEO’s of Distt. Kathua visited different Govt. Schools of their respective zones to inspect the functioning of the schools.
ZEO Basohli visited Govt MS Jandrota and UPS Khurana and checked MDM,Samagra Shiksha cash book, inspected classes and work done under School Composite Grant.
ZEO Sallan visited Govt MS Preni and checked the quality of MDM and found it satisfactory. Instructions were issued for conducting rallies for enrolment drive to increase the enrolment in the school.
ZEO Kathua visited UPS Rajbagh, GPS Rajbagh and NPS Taraf Tajwal.
ZEO Barnoti visited Govt. High School Bhallar, Govt. Middle school Nanan and Govt. Middle School Mearth and checked various civil works including initial level and plinth level going on in these schools, checked the quality of MDM and found satisfactory, the performance of 8th, 9th and 10th classes were quite good in all schools.
Instructions were issued to all the schools for conducting enrollment drive.
ZEO Mahanpur visited PS Danni and checked MDM cash book , Enrollment register and also checked the records of students enrolled. He also visited NPS Kotla and also checked MDM record etc. In GPS Poonda he checked MDM Cash Book, Enrollment register etc.
In GMS Nagrota Prehta, Zonal education Officer Mahanpur inspected the civil work of ACR going on. He discussed with the contractor the details and plans of the work being done and directed him to complete the work in time bound manner and hand over the building to the school authorities well within the stipulated time frame. He also inspected the class rooms and took the details of Girl students from concerned class teachers after that he checked MDM cash book, Enrollment register etc.
Besides this, the team of Doctors has also visited UPS Ghatti in Zone Barnoti regarding Health and Hygiene.
The detailed report had also been submitted to the office of the Chief Education Officer Kathua.
Chief Education Officer Kathua Sh. P.L. Thappa expressed his satisfication over the inspection conducted by various ZEOs.
He also stressed upon the HoIs of schools in Kathua Distt to implement vaious Govt Schemes in letter and spirit for the welfare of the students in particular and society in General.
