JKTJAC Deputation Meets DSEJ, Raises Burning Issues Of The Teachers
Jammu: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’Joint Action Committee ( JKTJAC) led by UT President Vinod Sharma called on Director School Education Jammu Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma JKAS in his Office Chamber here at Jammu.
While interacting with the Director Mr Vinod Sharma raised the burning issues of the teaching fraternity which include:-
■ Conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II/III by arranging a divisional level Committee meeting so that eligible RRETs get their salaries ,
■Regularisation of ReTs whose files are lyiing pending at various stages.
■Release of more than two years salary in favour of RRETs who have not been converted to Teachers’ Grade II/ III due to various reasons as their families are on the verge of starvation,
■ Conversion of EVs to ReTs as they are suffering badly , as they have acquired their required qualifications in stipulated time period given by the department,
■ Providing Enrollment/Post facto permission in favour of teachers who are pursuing/ have persued higher qualifications,
■ Resumption of mutual transfer cases of teachers Grade II/III as many files are lying in Directorate office
■ Provision of earned leave in favour of teachers engaged during summer/winter vacation for summer/winter camps and for other duties
The Director listened the deputation quite patiently and assured to redress each and every issue raised by the JKTJAC leadership. He also said that divisional level Committee meeting for conversion will be held every Monday till the process is completed. He also assured to issue DPC list within days and simultaneously regularisation of eligible ReTs at the earliest.
