KARGIL MAY 29: A two-day training programme for supervisors and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) regarding Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls was held here today.
District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Kargil Vikas Kundal was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC underlined the importance of the training programme in enhancing the expertise and skills of the BLOs and supervisors. He said that it would broaden their understanding in dealing with matters with regard to the electoral process.
During the training programme, the BLOs of Kargil, Drass, Shargole, Sankoo, Tai Suru and ShakarChiktan Tehsil were imparted training on various aspects of Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls and BLO Mobile App.
The trainees were also enlightened about ERONET Version 2 and election house-to-house survey. Around 200 BLOs and Supervisors participated in the training programme.
Deputy District Election Officer Nargis Banoo, District Level Master Trainer Muhammad Hadi and Muhammad Amin imparted training to the participants on the responsibilities of the BLOs and Supervisors with regard to different aspects of the electoral process.
