JSS celebrates Teachers’ Day

Jammu, September 5: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu paid tributes to the entire teacher fraternity and Dr. Saravpalli Radhakrishnan on Teacher’s day with exuberance. Students of different classes used various ways to articulate honor and obeisance to the teachers.

The programme continued with speech, songs and synchronized dance performances which made the audience jubilant. Students also enacted a skit based on their teachers in the classroom which was enjoyed by everyone.

The teachers were given titles as per their Students perspective and felt proud and esteemed to be the part of this fraternity. Harpreet Singh Anand, Chairperson of the School conveyed his best wishes to the teachers and asked them to lead & educate to empower the students. Members from the management Sonakshi & Harleen were present on the occasion.                            

The celebrations ended with the reassuring words of Rohini Aima , Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school. She said that teaching is a pious profession but due to certain factors, this profession is losing its dignity hence the youth does not want to pursue it. She instigated teachers to take a pledge to elevate the profession. The whole programme was conceived and presented by Classes XI & XII & the student council of the School under the supervision of C.C.A Coordinator Trishna Sharma & House master Amrita.
