Two youth sustained multiple injuries in a road mishap on Srinagar-Leh highway in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
An official said that a car bearing registration number JK01M/2914 collided with another car bearing registration number JK15/1135 near Wussan area of Kangan resulting in multiple injuries to two people.
One of the injured has been identified as Showkat Ahamd Bhat son of Bashir Ahmad of Bohri Kadal, Srinagar while the identification of the other injured is being ascertained.
The official said that the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The unidentified youth has been referred to SKIMS, Soura in Srinagar for advanced treatment.
A police case has also has been registered in the incident, said the official.
